About Us
Looking for a Carpenter, Joiner or Builder in Ceredigion? Then you need look no further.
D J S Joinery & Stevens Building are based in Tregaron, Ceredigion. Building is our passion. We have over 35 years of experience in the Joinery, Carpentry and Construction industries and believe that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. We are committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
Stevens Building undertake any type of building project, we have engaged in Heritage work, Restorations, Renovations, Insurance Works, and New Builds, We have recently completed a large extension to a traditional cottage and several jobs re-roofing cottages and houses, using slates in particular. We have undertaken everything from a complete home refurbishment to installing dog kennels and runs. We love nothing better than a challenge, and some projects have truly been challenging!
Joinery works often work in and around the building side of the company. Or can be "stand-alone" items such as windows, doors, stairs, Conservatories, Stables, Barns etc. At DJS Joinery we have often been required to do Heritage works in conservationally sensitive areas, such as the Cotswolds and latterly in Aberystwyth, Lampeter and Tregaron. We also undertake replacement windows whether these are traditional sliding sash or modern casements, we are happy to discuss your requirements.

The Memorial Hall in Tregaron where our remit was to manufacture windows in keeping with the traditional design of the building.
CAVO at 16 Bridge St, Lampeter, this is another heritage scheme job, in which we once again manufactured and replaced the sash windows to the front of the building and also carried remedial works here.
LA Florists, Station Road, Tregaron - further heritage works under the auspices of CADW to refit the shop and make a new shop front that was appropriate for the heritage area.
